"Each vict'ry will help you, some other to win", is so true and what brought me here tonight. Not only do past vict'ries remind us that, in God's strength, we CAN succeed. It's often after we've resolved to TRY, that the Holy Spirit REMINDS us, of a victorious precedent. Which boosts our confidence in Him, and in ourself. True of overcoming other challenges, not just temptations towards deliberate sin.

This is for me…

Like most Christians I was told about a pre trib rapture when I was a young Christian. But after studying scripture for years it was obvious that this is a false doctrine. Those who hold to it use many words to prove it’s true but no scripture! In the early church our Lords return was based on the Lords own words! Every time Jesus spoke about his return he said it would be on either “ the last day” or “ the end of the age”. The parable of the wheat and tares, the sermon on the bread of life( john 6). Are just two examples. Jesus said he would raise “ all the Father had given him, on the last day. He said this four times! Lazarus’ sister Martha made a statement that Jesus did not correct, she said “ I know my brother will rise again on the last day”. Paul talking about the resurrection in 1cor 15 says the resurrection will happen in two parts, christ the firstfruits, ( which had already happened) and then those that belong to him at his coming. Jesus also said his coming would be after the tribulation of those days ( matt 24). The writer of the epistle to the hebrews in chapter 9 says jesus will return a second time, not a second and third time! Those who believe in the false doctrine of a pre trib rapture use 1 thess 4 as their go to text. This text does not give a time when it will happen. But it is the same order as matt 24 where jesus does give a time frame, after the tribulation of those days! Also pre trib people say there are 2 more comings of Jesus, the rapture and then the day of the Lord! The rapture they say is pre trib, the day of the Lord at the end of the age! But the Apostle Paul in 1 thess 4&5 says that what he has been explaining in chapter four is the day of the Lord, he says this in the first part of chapter 5. There are many other examples in scripture that jesus is coming on the last day of the age, we just don’t know when the last day is. I am convinced that this false doctrine has no place in the church. Read what Paul thought of Hymaeneus, Philitus and Alexander teaching that the resurrection had already happened and were upsetting the faith of some! He turned them over to satan to teach them not to commit blasphemy

This teaching is not true. Actually he is mixing Mathew 24 and 1 Thessalonians 4. But Mathew 24 is context about jews, Lord's coming on Earth to fulfill his promise for Israel. But 1 Thessalonians 4 is about the rapture of the church revealed by Lord thru Paul. There is persecution for church in this world but the great tribulation (7 years) specially for Israel ( Daniel ) and the ungodly people in the world.

The theory of the rapture before the 7 year rule of the Beast is correct. The Bible has many references to that. And in Revelation too it's clearly mentioned.

God save me from all my unrighteousness, i confess all my sins which I remembered and all sins which I forgot. Help me to live holy and righteous and honesty. Help me to have reverencial fear and Godly fear, help me to depend upon you for every need of my life. Prepare me to be with you in heaven.
